Freddie Fong Contemporary Art, established in 1985, promotes and exhibits regional, national, and international artists. The gallery specializes in the sale and exhibition of contemporary painting, sculpture, works on paper, and photo based works. Established artists such as Wayne Thiebaud, David Hockney, Roy Lichtenstein, Frank Stella, Jasper Johns, Brice Marden and the Bay Area Figurative artists Richard Diebenkorn, David Park, Elmer Bischoff, James Week, Paul Wonner, Theophilus Brown, Manuel Neri, Joan Brown and Nathan Oliveira are exhibited along with emerging artists. In recent years, the gallery has been involved in carrying contemporary cutting edge art in the photo medium by artists such as: Shirin Neshat, Tetsu Okuhara, Cindy Sherman, and others.The gallery maintains an inventory of high-quality exemplary images for the needs of the beginning and experienced collectors. We offer professional advice and will search for special pieces for those who desire to build an art collection. We also accept consignment for resale in the event of deaccession or upgrading your collection.
